2009 Home

Post•45 is a collective of younger scholars working on American literature and culture since 1945. The group was founded in 2006 and has met annually since to discuss new work in the field. We are meeting at the University of Missouri, November 13 & 14, 2009, for our fourth symposium.

Post•45 is committed to the discussion of work-in-progress among a relatively small group of scholars each year. The format of the symposium ensures lively and substantive discussion of cutting-edge work in the field, and allows participants to exchange ideas and receive feedback while the work is still in development. Regulars to the symposium mix with new participants each year as we continue to expand our vision of this newly vital field.

On this site you will find the 2009 conference program and other information about travel to Columbia and the events at Missouri; conference participants may download and upload pre-circulated papers for workshop sessions; interested visitors can find general information about the collective.
